I just stumbled upon something I’d like to have as a platform in Sockethub, so I thought why not open a topic here and start collecting those ideas.
Case in point: Telegram. Protocol: https://core.telegram.org/mtproto
So, we’ll kind of need to use Slack with a team we’re cooperating with soon, and ideally we do that from Hyperchannel and with persistent logs in RS (a.k.a. the Kosmos way). 
So I officially vote for starting a Slack implementation. They have both a REST API as well as a WebSocket-based realtime API: https://api.slack.com/
Sounds great! makes a lot of sense.
