(App) examples in repository

Yesterday I removed example/index.html from the repository, because it contained unreleased features and also someone reported it as not working at all on IRC. Two things:

  • Is it necessary to have any examples at all in the same repo? Why can’t we link to example app repos?
  • The remaining minimal-head example is outdated, using 0.8.1. Why is it called -head anyway, and is it using a common notes module or is that one also outdated?
