Process for adding new verbs to platforms

As discussed at the last Kosmos summit, it would be great to have some kind of (formal) process for adding new verbs to platforms. The main reason is to make it easier for all developers to contribute, but also to help to make this rather confusing topic more understandable in general.

Let’s start collecting some ideas here how such a process could look like and what else might be needed.

IIRC we talked about potentially using Discourse, with subcategories for certain things like this.

So there could be a category just for adding new ActivityStreams objects/verbs for example, in which we could e.g. have post templates containing the steps outlined for new proposals.
