SHA2017 (August 4-8, Zeewolde, Netherlands)

SHA2017 is a non profit outdoor Hacker camp taking place in The Netherlands in 2017 on August 4th to 8th.

It is the successor of a string of similar events happening every four years. These are GHP, HEU, HIP, HAL, WTH, HAR and OHM.

Similar events are EMF 2016 in the UK, CCC Camp and congress in Germany. The location is the Scoutinglandgoed in Zeewolde, 55km east of Amsterdam.

The festival is organized for and by volunteers from and around all facets of the international hacker community.

Knowledge sharing, technological advancement, experimentation, connecting with your hacker peers and of course hacking are some of the core values of this event.

Some Kosmos folks will be hanging out there. (Kosmos is a Slack alternative, based on IRC/XMPP, RS, and Sockethub). We have a wiki page for the camp, where we’re slowly adding more info. It will also contain the location of our shared community tent, where we hack on Kosmos and RS stuff.

Edit: As of now, they have 235 tickets left, of the 500 additional ones they added recently. They sold just over 3000 tickets overall so far.

@michielbdejong @fkooman Any of you locals pitching a tent as well?

… if anyone wants to find us, we’re in the Turing field; green pavilions right next to DK-TURING-4.

I won’t be there it seems!
