Discourse itself, used to host the community.remotestorage.io forums, seems like a decent candidate for remoteStorage integration.
The crashy devtools built into Firefox just crashed my whole Firefox session when I tried opening the console to look for errors while trying out inbox.5apps.com and composing a message over in the Inbox RS thread.
Thankfully, Discourse synced a copy of my draft message… somewhere. But I was worried—and still don’t know where that “somewhere” is.
(During my looking in to this, I looked into Discourse’s “My messages” sidebar item, and drafts don’t seem to appear anywhere there—though maybe I didn’t look in the right spot; Discourse has always struck me as having an overly busy UI. Prior to that, though, I’d already poked at browser localStorage, indexedDB, etc. and it doesn’t look it’s anywhere purely client side. I requested a user data archive export in the Discourse settings, and drafts replies don’t seem to be anywhere there, either. Looking around the user data archive does hint at some possibly fruitful integration points.)
